Steps to Bid Online at Nelson Alternative Livestock Auction Through Cattle USA

Log in to Cattle USA.

Scroll down list of auctions to Nelson Alternative Livestock Auction

Click the "Buyer Approval" button next to the auction you wish to be approved at. The first time you do this, a form will pop up for you to fill out your contact information.

Fill out ALL information and click the button at the bottom of the form to continue.

Your information will be sent directly to the auction, allowing them to find you in their database and approve you to buy.
Each auction approves its own buyers, and no buyers are approved by Cattle USA. This process ensures your privacy and security. Your information remains private and is only shared with the auctions you choose. To obtain approval to buy at an auction, you'll need to submit your contact information directly to each auction you wish to buy from.
Auctions will not have access to your information until you send it to them.

(Approval for the March 28-29, 2026 sale is done week of March 23rd)
Nelson Livestock Auction will contact you via email with a link for options to pay the $20 access fee for online bidding. Once your fee has been received, we will approve and send an access code by email and through Cattle USA. That code will be used for both days to bid online.
